"Last Year" is so passé

"3 o' clock" likes to hide beneath my bed

"Tomorrow" always gets his way

And "Last Night" is in my head.

"Right Now" is too impatient

"Maybe Later" is a bore

"Already" is too tainted

And "Always" is a whore.

"Forever" seems so far away

"This Weekend" comes too slow

"Never" hates to stay

And as for "I'm in a Hurry?" well she's all for show.

"Over-due" never came,

"Whenever" will not end

"7 o'clock" is playing a game

And "Midnight" is my friend.

!

"New Year" loves to party

While "11 o' clock" enjoys his sleep

"Two in the Morning" is always tardy

And "Nevermind" has promises to not keep

!

I like to play with "Time"

He is my good mate

But I hope the rest do not sublime

Because one shouldn't mess with fate.
