- the location;
- i can see the university from my front garden and it's a ten minute walk away
- there's a convenience shop literally straight across the road
- can reach mcdonalds, greggs and subway within 2-5 mins (which is going to prove wayyy too convenient for a lazy cunt like me)
- plenty of -- as of yet unexplored -- cafes, restaurants and coffee houses nearby
- subway/train station is very close and it's just a 12-minute ride into glasgow city centre
- supermarkets like morrisons/sainsburys/lidl are close
- good parking facilities
- my flatmates are sound
- i feel safe in the neighbourhood
- the neighbours are friendly
- my room!
- pink neon lighting and shimmery tinsel backdrops
- tiger skin rug
- palm tree
- barbie and playboy cushions
- buckfast bottles with flowers in them
- zebra print bedding
- massive walk-in closet
- there is a homely living room
- finally, i have a functioning kitchen
- last year in student halls i shared a tiny kitchen with 12 gross people who made zero effort to clean up their shit - the cooker hobs were always filthy and the sink piled with dishes
- now i have a kitchen i feel more compelled to cook proper meals... rather than always ordering takeaways or having mundane stuff like ready meals and noodles. i can spread my culinary wings!
- there's a small but nice garden
- and i brought a deck chair so i can sit outside in the sun for a breather and cigarette
