- 1-2 boxes of breakfast cereal
- Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds
- Kroger brand Lucky Charms
- Cinnamon Chex (tastes exactly like Taco Bell cinnamon twists!)
- Honey Nut Cheerios (also Kroger brand...I'm all about cheap)
- 2% Milk
- Fresh fruit
- I usually get "baby oranges" -clementines, mandarins, tangerines
- Drink
- Recently I'm in love with Sierra Mist Natural- no high-fructose.
- Juicy Juice (especially if I don't get fruit)
- Hot chocolate mix
- Snacks for the studio
- Granola-type bars
- Pita chips
- Dinner option 1:
- 99 cent microwave dinners (Mac and cheese, pot pies, rice and veggies)
- Lean Cuisine or Healthy choice microwave dinners (healthier, more options, includes tiny pizza)
- Canned soup for variety
- Dinner option 2:
- Beef ramen
- Add-ins for the ramen. Current favorite is to make up a batch of black bean salsa and add it to the noodles with sour cream.
- Dessert
- Ice cream
- Chocolate candy
- Sour gummy worms!
So is this healthy? Not particularly, but it's all quick food, and I can usually pull off the basics of this list every week for under $25. Especially if I skip the dessert.
