Let me begin with how it started, before we arrived at the venue itself. Days before I departed, I had to prepare all I could need. But taking experience from last year, I realized that I didn't bring much and so I brought less than what I brought since the past year, but I prioritized snacks and food for myself.

During the exact day of the departure, it felt chilly in the earliest morning one could wake up for an adventurous endeavor. There around the campus, three yellow buses, not the small ones, but the ones that held within them, luxury and comfort. When I got on, its interior contrasted the white and warm yellow of the bus' exterior. Black and neon dark blue filled the interior, faintly illuminating the long columns of soft chairs, meant to hold many travelling passengers. I took a seat at the forefront, granting me a view of the bus' massive windshield, showing the wide road it will eventually embark on, and the window beside me, revealing the height of where I sat, seeing people that are taller than I am, look like miniature versions of themselves. For the first few minutes, it was silent. Not much pooled in just yet, even the driver too. But time went by, students climbed aboard the transportation vehicle, wearing their warm clothing and their color coded hats above their head.

What surprised me here was that despite the bus' seats now occupied, it was less loud than it was than the usual rowdiness of a classroom that held close to the same amount of students. It seemed they were as ecstatic as I was. Soon later, once our teacher facilitators occupied the same bus, it drove, not off yet, but to trail its fellow sisters and once all buses were ready, we were off to the venue. One hour of travel was enough to carry long-lasting memories. We traversed through the highways where cars were least busy, roads that stood between the sparkling city lights to absolute darkness, and in the final few minutes, there was a bit of a mishap since the buses took the wrong direction. But either way, we arrived at the exact location and here we started to unpack and bid those yellow rideable elephants farewell as they tooted and exhaled out of the venue.

Next that came after was the assembly. It was a genuine workout, dragging all my belongings to my area with no one to aid me. But it’s fine, the cardio was necessary either way. The first thing we had to do was the morning dances, then the next came the banner making. This was my proudest moment yet. I was in charge and I gave out instructions to the best of my ability. My groupmates complied and we got to work. This short experience made me realize that even if I am not so good at other things, when it comes to passion, then I can lead others to my vision because I know a lot that I can lend them.

The next moment came the games. Many games were held as teams competed with one another to gain rewards based on the place they got. Teamwork was very necessary and everyone had to do their parts well in order for the group to raise their points. But aside from description, what matters more is the aftermath, how I felt after the games. I felt thrilled, the wind blew past me, like it was patting my shoulder for a job well done. Then next was the cook-off, where all groups cook the best. In all transparency, my contribution, though not the greatest, was washing my group's dishes. Though not much, it did wonders. The group didn't have multiple sets to use so having to reuse a washed utensil or cookware was effective enough.
