NOTE: best to use a mixer
- half cup of flour
- 2 tablespoons of corn starch
- 1 cup of boiled hot water
- stir and move to the side of the bowl
- 2 cups of hot soy milk (105-110 degrees F before adding)
- 2 teaspoons of sugar
- 2 and 1/4 teaspoons yeast
- 10 min before mixing the yeast into liquid mixture then mix!
- add 1/4 sugar OR agave (if agave add more flour)
- take 5 cups of flour
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- let sit for about 10 minutes to settle
- gently mix in some squares of vegan butter
- might need to add a little more flour or not
- cover for about 1 hour - flour surface and hands
- mold into buns
- make a maple syrup wash to help browning while baking
- or add to a loaf pan instead of buns
- keep up to 5 days or freeze
