• people think that you can have A style, like there's one genre of fashion that you can subscribe to and you're set for life
  • but for me, it's kind of a parfait of...well, whatever i fuckin like
  • i've bought so many things that when i come home, my mom or my brother would give me strange looks or politely say they think it's fugly, but guess what! NO1CURRR
  • like i buy many clothes in the guy section
  • and i'm very androgynous
  • when i was buying clothes in hamburg the other day, the cashier asked if they were from me...no, they're for my pet rock. DUH they're for me
  • and some people find it odd that i'm not confined to what society says i should wear, but i really think it's their loss
  • i buy most of my clothes and accessories from garage sales or thrift stores
  • i think i'm pretty eclectic, and i draw inspiration for my style from many different places, and not even necessarily things having anything to do with fashion
  • some days i can be very feminine and others, i can look quite "manly" but it really just depends on how i feel each day
  • people have voiced their confusion of my gender before, and certainly people find it okay to categorize me as butch once they see my wardrobe, but i wear what i wear not to boast my sexuality or put up a front, i wear what i do because it visually voices how i feel
  • and i don't think anyway that clothes indicate sexuality or gender identity, barring maybe pride wristbands or shirts that quite literally say I'M GAY or something of the like
  • i think there are some things that may imply that there is a possibility that they disregard gender roles, or that they may be some kind of queer, but i think that goes beyond clothes and more with the attitude you carry with what you put on your body
  • so for me, i wear what i'm confortable wearing, and i would like to think that that confidence shines through because i truly like what i wear
  • i'm kind of mistaken as a hipster all the time, and that is accompanied with a lot of dismissal
  • maybe i'm a hipster in your eyes, or maybe i'm super homo, but for me it's just....ME
  • so, personally, i think there is a correlation between what i where and how i identify, but that's just because it's an important part of me that i let myself express in many ways, including my fashion sense.
  • i do what i wannnt
