• Bre and I sent most of our time playing "us-be-people." Where we we play characters and make up our own storyline.
  • Although Bre is the writer of the family, I was usually the one coming up with the plot.
  • We lived on a corner house in NY on a dead end. As a result, we got ALL the snow. So we would always play in the piles twice as large as us that were left by the snow trucks.
  • Our favorite show was Get Smart. I always played Max, and Bre was 99. We played that their house was that pile of snow. And there was some crazy obsession with bumble bee tuna.
  • When Bre and I would play 10 or 15 mins away from our house at the school, we could always hear our mom whistle from our house.
  • Our grade school was Kaegebein. I still know how to spell it.
  • My favorite thing to do in the spring was to go through the dying flowers and take the seeds out so we could pant them for next year.
  • When it snowed, we would get bottles of root beer and put the snow in it. It was slushy.
  • At beaver Island, there was a sledding hill that everyone on the island went to. It is currently covered in trees.
  • There was a forrest right past our property, and we played in it until one of the neighbor girls got a tick. Then we were never allowed to play in it again.
  • My Dad traveled all the time with his work. It was always cool to hear the great stories and see the strange things he brought home. (i.e. an eifle tower shaped lollipop)
  • I grew up in and out of doctors offices, and hospitals. When my mom found herbs, I only had to go to Dr. Peppy once a year.
  • Our neighbor was Sarah. She lived a couple houses down, and when made a rule that every time one of us walked to the others, we had to take a ticket and return it. The ticket was a small leaf from a bush right on the sidewalk in the middle.
  • When we got a huge trampoline, everyone from the street would come over. One time, there was 6 or 7 of us on it, and when we all jumped together, Matt flew off onto the ground.
  • My Junior High orchestra teacher made me cry. A lot. But I learned more from her than anyone else.
