PIANO
- encorporate improvisation into every piano practice
- tape record these improvisations and use them as samples
- develop better pedal technique
- keep on experimenting with inventing new ways of pedaling
- finish part 1 of Hannon Exercises (April 2010)
- finish part 2 of Hannon Exercises (June 2010)
- finish part 3 of Hannon Exercises (July 2010)
SINGING
- practice yoga to have better posture
- practice meditation to remove the difficulty of breathing from my singing
COMPOSING
- finish my arrangement of august day song by bebel gilberto
- write sleep/dream piece (must be more than 1 hr long, very repetitive)
- invite people over to test out the sleep piece, have everyone fall asleep and then after 3 hours of sleep the music starts
- in the morning ask people to write down their dreams
- then incorporate the images that they see into artwork that goes along with the piece
- test out bike orchestra!! make whistles
