PIANO

  • encorporate improvisation into every piano practice
    • tape record these improvisations and use them as samples
  • develop better pedal technique
    • keep on experimenting with inventing new ways of pedaling
  • finish part 1 of Hannon Exercises (April 2010)
  • finish part 2 of Hannon Exercises (June 2010)
  • finish part 3 of Hannon Exercises (July 2010)

SINGING

  • practice yoga to have better posture
  • practice meditation to remove the difficulty of breathing from my singing

COMPOSING

  • finish my arrangement of august day song by bebel gilberto
  • write sleep/dream piece (must be more than 1 hr long, very repetitive)
    • invite people over to test out the sleep piece, have everyone fall asleep and then after 3 hours of sleep the music starts
    • in the morning ask people to write down their dreams
    • then incorporate the images that they see into artwork that goes along with the piece
  • test out bike orchestra!! make whistles
