    • What He's Like: (E) "I'm so in love with you," John says, a statement of fact. "I will never not be in love with you."
    • Pattern Behaviour: (E) Sherlock doesn't even know why he resents John's dates so much. Until the day he does know.
    • Matters of National Security: (E) John starts dating a male client of Sherlock's, and Sherlock can't figure out why he's so incensed about it.
    • The Silence After: (E) Sherlock may have physically survived his abduction, but in his mind he'll never be whole again. John understands PTSD, understands what Sherlock is going through, and is determined to be patient.
    • If Nobody Speaks of Unremarkable Things: (E) Maybe that was why: you only get the one miracle.
    • On the Losing Side: (E) After Mary's death, John moves back into Baker Street, but is still upset at the loss of his wife and child. Eventually, he and Sherlock stumble into a sort of relationship, but it's more physical than anything and they don't talk about it. They especially don't talk during sex.
    • Bloody But Unbowed: (E) When a familiar argument threatens to destroy the last remnants of John and Sherlock's failing friendship, both men are left questioning their worth to one another.
    • To Show You a Night: (E) Sherlock's never had an orgasm before. John crafts a solution.
    • Evidence of Human Life: (E) Sherlock's sanity deteriorates while he and John are stranded on a deserted island.
    • We Go Anywhere But To The Ground: (M) Every second that ticks by is a reminder of the deafening quiet Sherlock has left behind. John feels his soul slip out of his fingertips, inch by inch, with every passing day.
    • Given In Evidence: (E) Coming back from the dead can be a complicated business. With a new case on the horizon, rebuilding a life is one thing... rebuilding a friendship quite another. For Sherlock and John, things may never be just the same...
    • This Thing All Things Devours: (E) John Watson lives day-to-day in the crowded slums of Zone 13. He never imagined living any differently—until he meets the practically-immortal Sherlock, and helps him on a case to track a local time-thief...
    • White Tulip: (E) Sherlock is in love with John Watson. John Watson is in love with Mary Morstan. Sherlock likes Mary Morstan just fine. Sherlock likes drugs more. And most importantly, Sherlock doesn’t like Sherlock.
    • Loosed Reins: (E) “You’ve stuffed an entire body into the fridge this time,” John accused. “What happened to the milk? The leftover risotto? My bloody jam?”
    • The Sexual Awakening of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson: (M) In which John learns that Sherlock owing Mycroft a favor is very suspect, and Sherlock has a very bad idea.
    • The Measure of a Gentleman: (E) It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a partner. Less universally acknowledged is that a single man in possession of very little in the way of fortune may be in want of a partner as well, but John Watson had little time or energy to devote to his own wants or needs... Enter one Mr Holmes.
    • Vena Cava: (E) Sherlock has been shot in the chest; John has been shot in the heart. Though everything is broken, they do their best to heal the wounds that Mary left on them both.
    • Take What We're Given: (E) Magnussen doesn't flick John's face. He doesn't touch either of them. He finds it much more amusing to tell John to flick Sherlock's face. Because then it's John hurting Sherlock to keep Mary safe, and Sherlock letting him. That's real leverage.
    • The Quiet Man: (E) "Do you just carry on talking when I'm away?"
    • Ink Your Name Across My Heart: (E) The metaphor is imperfect but still workable. If my long term memory is a hard drive, then my short term memory is RAM. The hard drive became read-only following the illness. New data is stored in RAM and can be used while I remain awake. Going to sleep – ‘turning off’ – wipes the RAM, returning the system to what it was prior to the illness.
    • Best of Three: (E) “You want to have sex with me,” Sherlock announces one evening about a year after John's divorce. John's vigorous denial sparks a three-day wager wherein Sherlock is determined to prove his point, and John is determined to hold onto his heterosexuality.
    • A Cure for Boredom: (E) They'd never talked about sex in the year they'd known each other. Well, that wasn't quite correct: Sherlock had never said a word about sex; John had bemoaned his personal dearth of it on many occasions.
    • Frustration: (E) "Is this a regular occurrence?" Sherlock asked, his dark curls already wilting in the heady steam of the bathroom. "You forgoing my body in favour of your own little hand?"
    • The Kepler Problem: (E) Working in uncharted space exploration was not as exciting as John had hoped, especially when it turned out to be mostly bot maintenance on uninhabited planets. However, the mystery of the repeated, unexplained malfunctions on planet BAK 2212 might turn out to be exactly the kind of adventure he'd been craving.
    • The Moonlight and the Frost: (E) John has to somehow rebuild his life in the wake of Mary's betrayal and Sherlock's deceptions.
    • Thirst: (E) When John realizes he has feelings for Sherlock and decides he must keep those feelings secret at all costs, the resulting tension might bring Baker Street to the ground.
    • Praise Me: (E) In which Sherlock has an interesting physical reaction to compliments and John discovers it.

    • The Progress of Sherlock Holmes: (E) “I had,” he said, “come to an entirely erroneous conclusion, my dear Watson, how dangerous it always is to reason from insufficient data.”
    • Mental: (E) Sherlock Holmes is a patient in a closed psychiatric ward. John Watson is his new psychiatrist.
    • Our Enthusiasms Which Cannot Always Be Explained: (M) If John Watson were to put what he really wanted in list form, to live in a land somewhere beyond ‘almosts' now that Sherlock Holmes has indeed returned to him, he would never be able to look his flatmate in the eye ever again.
    • The Great Sex Olympics of 221B: (E) John Watson thinks Sherlock Holmes should admit that he, Watson, is more of an expert on sex than Sherlock is. But Sherlock refuses to concede the point. He comes up with an experiment plan that will resolve the issue.

    • Where I Cannot Find You: (M) When Hamish is diagnosed with cancer, his parents have two entirely separate ways of coping.
    • You Are A Paradigm: (M) In which John is (reluctantly) a wizard, Mycroft is (apparently) omniscient, and Sherlock is (surprisingly) oblivious.
    • The River Variations: (T) John Watson never knew that he wanted a ‘no toast in the mornings’ normal until he realized what an honor it is to be destroyed by Sherlock Holmes.
    • On the Other Side: (E) “This is what you’ve wanted isn’t it?” John says mockingly, cuttingly, fists bunched on Sherlock’s collar, simultaneously holding him close and shoving him with sharp knuckles against the wall. “You should be happy now: she’s gone, and I’m all yours.”
    • Software Malfunction: (E) Assigned as the head of Medical Research on the Baker, John Watson meets- and quickly falls in love with- Sherlock, a specially commissioned Companion android with a malfunction.
