- Your family is your greatest gift of all
- Name brand clothing and accessories aren't that important
- There is a silver lining to pretty much anything
- Tattoos are pointless
- It is not the end of the world if you don't date as a teenager (in fact, it may be better that way)
- High-school boys are immature and a waste of time (so are the majority of college guys)
- Learn from the mistakes of others whenever possible
- You ARE pretty/handsome
- Learning a foreign language is a VERY good idea!
- Read as much and as often as you can
- Be kind to others
- Write thank you cards, ALWAYS
- Don't go wild as a teenager/ young adult
- Call me when you get there
- Try not to sweat the small stuff
- Find a healthy form of stress relief
