• If taking a weekday trip at a small Bed and Breakfast, call before booking. Because it's a small business, the people may give you a better offer than what's available online.

Electronics

• Ask if there is an "open box." Open box just means a customer opened and returned an item. Since the business can no longer market it as "NEW" the item's price can be significantly slashed. Ex: I went to best buy yesterday and wanted to buy an ipad. The saleslady asked if I would like an "open box" which would give me a savings of about $90 (!)
• To save even more, you can see if it's possible to purchase a floor sample.
