- Scottish independence (I'm Green-Yes)
- I don't "get political" often, but when I do my views are generally VERY far left-wing, so *shrugs*
- I've been cutting back on my swearing lately because I want my page to be an all-ages space (or at least PG-13 haha), but I swear like a trooper irl and my posts do sometimes reflect that, so that's something to be prepared for
- and this isn't really sensitive subject per se, but if a thing's been out for more than three months, expect me to be pretty loose with spoilers

- my name is Al, though I go by Arisen on a lot of online games so I answer to that as well. Mori no Majou is just my URL on most platforms, rather than an epithet, and I'm not Japanese, so I'd prefer if you didn't call me "Mori" or "Majou" or anything like that
- I'm a semiprofessional artist and writer based in Scotland. most of my creative projects are fanworks, though I am also working on two original series of children's books
- I'm nonbinary. any pronouns are fine with me, but I prefer to use "they". I am ace, and grey-homoromantic (mostly aro), and express this through all my art - if I draw two characters interacting in an overtly romantic way, please assume they're an ace-spec couple!
- I am autistic

- all of my digital art is done in Clip Studio Paint; my favourite brush is the Textured Pen, and the Soothing Watercolour is my go-to blending brush
- currently, I work on a Wacom Cintiq 13; before that, I used a Wacom Intuos Comic, which I still use for colouring sometimes and thoroughly recommend as a first tablet
- for my coloured sketches, I use WHSmith's watercolour pencils
- I also use their sketch pads for all my traditional drawing, but I find any paper with a weight between 125-300 gsm will work for markers; just be sure to test them before using them for anything serious, and be aware that more absorbent papers (i.e. watercolour papers) will dry up the pen's ink faster and may damage the nib
- for my marker drawings, I colour with Promarkers, and use Copic fineliners in grey...
