- talk to people I don't know
- or just anyone in general, really
- talk about controversial subjects and expressing my opinion
- wear my glasses in public
- wear clothes that I don't usually wear
- look people in the eye.
- make fun of things because there is a chance someone around me likes what I'm making fun of.
- express any sort of opinions or feelings that aren't obvious and expected
- ask questions or ask for help
- call people on the phone
- eat messy things in front of other people
- watch TV around other people, if I am choosing what we're watching, or if we're watching something awkward
- play music loudly in my room, because my mom might hear what I'm listening to, and for some reason I'm afraid of that happening.
- be seen in public by people I know when I am with one of my parents
- be on the same aisle as somebody else in the CD store or book store or library
- dance or act enthusiastic around other people
- look for a job
- act confident around people I don't know
- look like I might know what I am doing around strangers or people who might be cool
- and for some reason I am intimidated by people that I don't know that I think are cool or interesting
- responding quickly to a question like "so what kind of music do you like?" from a strange boy at a football game.
