wilhelm of sweden recently came out to the world as the first openly queer royal and thus got a little too much attention... but it's an unexpected little thing he almost forgot he did that will break the internet and change his life, but also a certain popstar's.

hillerska university prides itself on its prestigious theatre program. wille kristensson, in his final year of his theatre degree, is excited to round out the last four years with the traditional final-year performance of a shakespeare play.

when romeo & juliet is announced as being that years play, wille is initially skeptical; being a cynic of love and romance, he forces himself out of his comfort zone to audition for romeo.

simon eriksson, fresh off the national tour of wicked, returns to hillerska to complete his final year, having taken a gap year in order to do the tour. He auditions for whatever he can get.

when the cast list is announced, the two young men are forced to forge somewhat of a friendship, which proves difficult, as they are complete strangers, and both have different dreams for how this play will go.

the thing is, though, is that 'dreamers often lie'
