Anxin hooks up with Lee Sangwon one night and his life changes forever.
Anxin asks about the translation of a word. Sangwon says something else entirely.
Or, answering the age-old question: what happens when you call your bro pretty, on camera?
"You know," Kaiwen muses, leaning his chair back at his desk, drumming his fingers lightly on the table. "Maybe you shouldn't give up."
Anxin peeks at him, a little curious, his brows slightly furrowed. "What do you mean?"
Kaiwen rests on elbow on his desk, as if what he's about to say is obvious: "You're a freshman now. You've grown. Trust me - you can change the way he sees you." His grin turns mischievious, twisting into something quite sharper than his usual sunny smile.
or: Zhou Anxin wants his brother's best friend, Lee Sangwon, to see him as more than a little brother.
Zhou Anxin is an omega.
Sangwon ruminated on the fact in his mind longer than he had expected. He had never cared about secondary gender that much, nor was he going to start now. Even with the assumption that Anxin was an alpha—no different than he was—he had thought the Chinese man was one of the prettiest people ever to exist.
Maybe he thought of how Anxin was the Planet C center, bold yet as pure as the driven snow with his handsome face and tall stature. Maybe he didn't think Anxin would've confided something so sensitive so nonchalantly. Like it was a public secret, when it was most definitely not. Maybe his mind went off the rails and thought of the worst—of men and alphas and, unfortunately, South Korea. The worst combination, really.
And it's not like he was trying to exclude himself from that group. Worst of all, he feared he could be as bad, because the first time he saw Anxin, he had thought, who wouldn't want to love him?
Or, Sangwon's a rather unpretentious (and unnassuming) alpha, and Anxin's a closeted omega.
"Okay. So. Let me get this straight. This whole time, when you drive Anxin-ie back to his apartment after parties - at ass hours, mind you - it's because you're being a good friend"
Sangwon tilted his head a bit. "Is that not what you do to, uh, Gyehyeon- hyung?"
"No," Kangmin pinched the bridge of his nose, exasperated. "I don't buy him perfume with a bouquet of his favourite flowers I accidentally found along the way. Or give him my jacket when it's slightly chilly outside - are you insane?"
"How weird is it if someone does all that as a friend?" Sangwon asked, failing to hid his worry as he bit his lip.
Kangmin looked back at him, horrified.
"Lee Sangwon. Everyone thinks you're dating Zhou Anxin, the bombshell of a sophomore form management. Why do you think girls and guys stop fawning every step you take? Why do you think people stop hitting on Anxin-ie as well?"
Or, apparently, everyone thinks that Sangwon and Anxin are in a relationship.
“Okay,” Anxin began, lowering his voice in mock seriousness. “I’ll say this once, and you better not laugh.”
“Now I have to laugh,” Kaiwen muttered, earning a sharp elbow to the ribs from Anxin.
Anxin crossed his arms before he cleared his throat. “I’m not ditching you guys for nothing,” he paused, watching their faces lean closer. “I actually have plans with my boyfriend.”
or Anxin insists he has a boyfriend. His friends insist he’s delusional.
"That wasn't just helping. That was... that was fate! Think about it: he helped me, we made eye contact... He touched my wrist, Sanghyeon. My wrist!"
"You mean the part of your body people grab when they're trying to stop you from walking into traffic?"
"Do you understand what this means?"
"Yes. That you're delusional."
"It means Sangwon loves me."

Anxin just wanted Sangwon to notice him.
“Scared?”
“Yeah.
Jungwon let out a small chuckle, a hand resting on Sangwon’s shoulder.
“That’s how you know it’s love, hyung. And there’s nothing wrong with that.”
Sangwon didn’t say anything. Jungwon continued.
“You don’t have to deprive yourself of it just because you’re an idol now. And you don’t have to deprive Anxin of it. He deserves to feel loved by you just as much as you deserve to be loved. The fans, you know, they’ll keep on talking. And you’ll have to learn to tune them out someday. But the love, hyung. The love is what will pull you through it.”

Anxin realised he'd been daydreaming again.
Normally, Sangwon doesn't do much small talk with customers, he prefers the quiet, the peacefulness and usually just lets them be. He doesn't get why now, he does speak.

A day in the life of Anxin and his cat-bunny hybrid boyfriend, Sangwon.
Spending his mornings with Sangwon by his side made Anxin feel like the luckiest person in the world and he wouldn't trade it for anything that isn't spending the rest of his life with this guy.
"What if we just stayed at home in bed, cuddling and making out to our hearts' content?"
That wouldn't be a bad ide-
It took every restraint to push out that response out of his mind.
Or: A domestic morning with out favourite couple
The truth of it was this: Anxin has wanted, yearned, pined, and longes for many things in his life. Most ardently. But Sangwon had handed him this new, specific craving - handed it over, then turned and ran for the hills.
Now, he wants so badly it feels like he might split apart at the seams; he wants to devour, to be devoured, to be ruined.
Or, Sangwon is a vampire, and Anxin accidentally signs up to be his resident bloodbag. Shenanigans ensue.
The mark on Zhou Anxin’s wrist, a rose the color of a fading sunset, had glowed with a soft, warm light since the day he turned sixteen. It was a beacon of hope, a promise written in his very skin. That hope had a name: Lee Sangwon.
And Sangwon’s rose, an identical twin to Anxin’s, was his greatest regret.
"A pillow princess - when you like being taken care of, in bed."
"That's—" Anxin's eyes rake over Sangwon with newfound appreciation, "—that's exactly what Sangwonnie hyung is."
Sangwon, the resident INFP, is never living this down.
Anxin decides to find out more about the guy his fans have been shipping him with.
Around Lee Sangwon, the world kept spinning, crowds laughing and moving, but he remained still—a fading shadow drowning quietly in the night.
And then he saw him.
After countless gigs, he appeared again—unchanged, untouched by time. His short blonde hair caught the dim light; thick-framed glasses rested gently on his small face. A simple long-sleeved shirt and jeans clung to his quiet presence, ordinary yet unmistakably his. The club’s harsh lighting could barely do justice to him, but to Sangwon, he was still that angel on earth—the same as he had been four months ago.
Zhou Anxin moved with purpose now, weaving through the crowd toward Kangmin, who was lost in conversation, laughter spilling between sips of his drink. In that moment, amid the chaos and fading echoes of the night, Anxin was a glass of clarity—familiar, distant, and achingly close all at once.
Or, Lee Sangwon and Zhou Anxin had broken up six months ago.
zhou anxin had a strange habit of kissing people (kissing sangwon).
The entirety of the Aerok Kingdom was filled with rumours of the Emperor of Chrome's tyranny and barbaric manner of living. Rumours that spoke of how he drank the fresh blood of children and defiled any woman who was captured during war.
The horned helm he donned as he conquered nations earned him the moniker, Demon King, and the servants whispered of his face, which was said to be grotesque and disfigured, littered with scars that made him seem closer to beast than human.
This was the very same emperor whose harem Lee Sangwon was set to join.
Lee Sangwon's trainee life is spend on curating one one thing: an aura. Quite, cold, untouchable. On Boys Planet 2, he's the mysterious guy, with the perfect looks, sharp dance lines, never caught slipping. But no one knows he's hopelessly, astronomically down bad for Zhou An Xin, who is loud and sparkly, always throwing an arm around Sangwon like they're already dating.
To cope, Sangwon keeps a secret notebook: 99 Reasons Why I shouldn't Fall for Zhou Anxin. Filled with silly stuff like "he talks with his mouth full" and "need to focus on debut." But it's really a silent scream for help. One night, the notebook falls from his bunk. An Xin finds it. Anxin finds it, grinning like he won the lottery...
At the start of their third year, Sangwon and Anxin were paired up together for a pen pal exchange between Hogwarts and Ilvermorny. It was meant to improve the connections between the two major English-speaking wizarding schools.
But what started as a simple pen pal exchange could lay the groundwork for something more. Something that blooms over letters, visits, and time spent getting to know each other.
(aka This idea came into my head and would not leave. So here's the Wonxin Harry Potter AU that nobody but I asked for.)
“Yeah, his pretty face is practically plastered all over on the school’s forum, it’s barely been a term and he’s already ‘out-famousing’ you” Kangmin continued, “He’s even taken your title as the ‘forum king’, aren't you a tad bit curious about him?”
"Nope, don’t know don’t care, won’t ever care” Sangwon rolled his eyes.
or
Lee Sangwon needed to know just who is this Zhou Anxin who had gotten all his bros down bad for him.
