- Average cost for basement refurbishment is 3k-10k (don't worry about it)
- If you don't pick the perfect floor, it doesn't matter. It will be neutral and sunny and that is good enough.
- You don't need to do everything right now. You can pick chairs later or redo the staircase cabinet later.
- After the floor refurbishment, the major cost is done. You've paid for most of the paint and the floor already. It's just going to be another 1000 euros for paint, curtains and stuff, and another 1000 for furniture (dining table benches, dressoir).
- Maybe re-use the small white book cabinet somewhere else (attic? study? bedroom?)
- Kitchen: remove the glass doors and use the shelves for things that are allowed to get dusty (+ groene broodtrommel/kookboeken er in zetten!) Maak het minder truttig allemaal
