• To motivate yourself to undertake something and overcome your fear of failure, focus on the initial step or set an easily achievable objective for yourself. If you want to exercise, don't pressure yourself to complete a 30-45 minute intensive workout. Don't even consider working out. Simply persuade yourself that you will change into your gym clothes. If you don't want to exercise, that's fine; at the very least, you put on your clothing. Trick your mind. The likelihood of skipping exercise decreases because you are already clothed. Works everytime.
  • Every day, clean one item in your apartment. It's easier than setting aside a whole Sunday to clean the entire house. Just concentrate on cleaning this counter or putting your things back in your closet. Even if it appears minor, you are making progress.
