Of course, we all know that the "things" Haruka wants to get her mind off of are how her husband is likely dead and about how, any minute now, she'll be filled with another man's seed. And, if this were a different world- one where it was okay to replace old flowers with new ones after the initial inhabitants rot to death- That seed would form roots. The roots would turn to wires sink deep into the soil. And bloom into a beautiful, sick rose. I close my eyes and wish for God to exist so he can watch me pluck yet another fruit before it's fully ripe.
:haruka: Haruka: WELCOME TO ANOTHER BAD END :haruka: Haruka: IS IT CANON? :haruka: Haruka: IS IT NOT? :haruka: Haruka: Such a shame. :haruka: Haruka: I was just starting to get wet. :haruka: Haruka: LEAVE ME ALONE! :haruka: Haruka: LET ME ROT IN PEACE! emphasis mine when you break haruka, that is very interesting terminology she uses and i think that is a callback to here: But this god could not feel, so he did not mind. One by one, day by day, the fruits of his energy- powered by the celestial body that gifted them life, would leave him to rot. They would leave him to rot as he remained in that dark room, letting the world move around him- spinning so fast that even thinking about it would cause you to burn up and die.
