• 1/1/16 I had an awesome bike ride with my lady friends ending in coffee.
  • 1/2/16 I spent more of the day stoned at the bookstore reading social theory critique. I learn a few things and have a nice warm lunch at Thai Noodle. Some things never change. It's still the 2nd best soup in town.
  • 1/3/16 Sunday nights are so funny. It's been raining lately and nearly impossible to leave the house. I made it to the Irish Pub where everyone is inevitable interesting and unique. I had a tarot card reading from a good looking gent sitting on stage. He's nice to look at and I don't even think twice about the bag of balloons in his brown leather knapsack. But right there before me, the lady being me receives a gift. A balloon animal in the shape of a flower with a weird yellow thing jetting off to the side, I think it is a worm. My inner child's heart is warmed.
  • 1/4/16 Boss man asked how my vacation was (that doesn't always happen), friendly admin said good morning. I enjoyed the smile, then I got a fun email from my lon lost childhood friend Claire who is very creative. She wrote a beautiful email. I like running at lunch.
  • 1/5/16 Sometimes when you talk to people in an elevator, they are very friendly. They talk back, they understand your professional suffering and shake your hand with big wide open eyes that look directly into yours. Eye contact this day and age is very exciting. Sometimes I feel like I'm living in a vortex, a not good vortex where people have become drone like zombies, zapped of life hugging their machines.
  • 1/8/16 Great morning bike ride with Arianna, Kelley and Kate. Kate came over all the way from the city and bought me coffee. I like that she thinks it's not a big deal to wake up at 4:30 am to ride a bike for an hour in the east bay.
  • 1/9/16 The Saturday morning Krav Maga class, I was in a group of 8 people, six were women. Though I busted my finger and scratched my eye, everyone had really good positive supportive energy while attacking each other with big hard foam boards.

1/10/16 - best first date (was it a date? I don't think it was a date) but it was really lovely, Micha at the Pelican Inn, darts, a fireplace, warm protective hands. His hair smelled good. He made the birthday girl, Wendy a birthday hat and played the flute for her. Cleared tables to help the bartender, Page; put his hat on my head, his coat on my back.1/11/16 -
