Sometimes, it's the little things that mean the most. Here are some of the small details that make everyday life blissful even amongst the routine.
- The smell of fresh coffee in the morning.
- Wrapping presents for birthdays or holidays.
- Cooking or baking with a friend or a parent.
- Lying on my back, with a cat on my chest.
- Reading a book, and sipping coffee that seems to stay hot for an unusually long time.
- Walking with my hand in his.
- Looking up at a tree's canopy from below.
- The smell of garlic, peppers, or onions cooking up.
- Laughing.
- Hugs, from behind.
- Forehead kisses.
- New pencils, markers, colored pencils, or other art supplies.
- Having a sight or scent remind me of something nearly forgotten from long ago, so that way I can feel all of the memories rushing back.
- Reaching the end of a wonderful book, and realizing that there's a SEQUEL! :D
- Relating with book / movie / anime characters.
- Compliments, of course.
- When the shower water keeps a regular temperature for the duration of my washing.
- Finding cheap or clearance clothing items that I really, really like.
- Having a little extra, unexpected money.
- Smiling at someone, and then having that person smile back an equally genuine smile.
- Getting jumped upon by a dog.
- Having the car warmed up already in the winter, and being able to slip into a warm environment after rushing through the cold.
- Finding something cute to use as my bookmark.
- Organizing my Mp3 player, and my Windows Media Player library.
- Seeing someone else with similar idiosyn"crazies". xP
- Good movie previews before the feature presentation.
- Hearing 90s songs on the radio.
- When someone else remembers "That one show" you know, "From waaaay back when."
- Marshmallows done over a campfire, with graham crackers and chocolate.
- Not having a migraine, or getting over one fast.
- Having no homework over the weekends.
- When songs, videos, etc download or stream at the speed of light, and there's not much delay.
- Getting in the car with someone that actually drives like a normal human being, and doesn't put my life at risk.
- Sunsets and sunrises.
- Living near a river.
- Summer scents. Winter scents. Fall scents. Spring scents.
- When the first snow of the season collects and accumulates enough to play in.
