He’d always thought that was kind of weird and just some macho ‘make your mate submit by biting their throat’ thing until he’s alone in the kitchen with Park Jimin and his damn shirt falls down his damn shoulder.

Yoongi might not seem like it, but he’s a romantic at heart. Call him old fashioned, but he wants the scent he carries with him to be the same one he comes home to. He doesn’t think there’s anything wrong with that even if it isn’t a belief a lot of young people share.

Jungkook's fans call him a rabbit and make him wear bunny headbands all the time. He's never thought there would be.. magical consequences...

but it’s just: yoongi is a cat. cats groom themselves, and then groom the people they like. yoongi surely grooms hoseok and namjoon when they’re together, too. yoongi surely slips his fingers under the hems of their sweaters, too, to pet at their waistbands, at their stomachs. yoongi surely presses his lips to the back of their necks, too, and rumbles against their backs in his own form of purring.

Some hybrids rally against having to hide, but most want to live their lives without being different.

Rabbit Hybrid Jungkook is the latter. His mother is dedicated to the Hybrid Visibility cause, but seeing her come home bruised and broken over the years has made him hate everything to do with his Hybrid status. He hides it from everybody, not even his closest friends know the truth.

Cat Hybrid Kim Taehyung loves helping humans learn more about Hybrids without the misconceptions found in human textbooks. He lets people pet his ears, play with his tail. He wants people to change their biased opinions on his species.

Being the new kid doesn't deter him. Especially when he eyes his next target, the cute emo kid who constantly wears dark hoodies and wrinkles his nose whenever Taehyung brings up being a Hybrid.
