- Two summers working on a tiny boat on Lake Memphremagog and all the wonderful people and landscapes that entailed.
- Summers on the Southern Maine Coast. Last summer on my last night in Wells, knowing I was leaving home soon for nearly a year, I took a visual imprint of the night sky, a shooting star, through the towering Pine trees. And one last look back at Footbridge Beach.
