"Do you think she can hear me?" Asahi looks down to his husband amused.

Jaehyuk was crouching infront of him on the floor, cheek pressed on Asahi's baby bump and hands splayed over his husband's hands.

"How are you so adamant it's a girl?" The omega chuckles, lifting one hand to run them over the alpha's hair gently.

"I just know that I'm gonna be having a daughter," Jaehyuk replies back, nuzzling on the baby bump.

Asahi always smelled sweet and homey to him but since the news broke out and the baby bump started showing, Jaehyuk could smell a different type of sweetness to his husband everytime he was close. It calmed his heart and made him feel warm, always.

Jaehyuk pulls away suddenly, staring up at his husband with big round eyes, "Should I sing for her? Will she hear me?"

The sight makes Asahi giggle and he nods his head, urging his husband to go and Jaehyuk smiles, shifting closer to place his hand over the baby bump gently.

He starts singing a soft lullaby, one that Asahi has heard many times before and it makes him smile wider.

Asahi still remembers how Jaehyuk was so scared, insecure when he found out the omega was pregnant because he thought he couldn't possibly be a good dad.

There are still times when the omega finds his husband sitting on their desk and reading parenting books, checking out articles on the internet about pregnancy and what not.

Sometimes he finds it amusing but most of the times it makes him happy to know that Jaehyuk is working hard to be a good father to their child.

There is no doubt inside his heart though that Jaehyuk would definitely be the best dad in this world.

"I can't wait to meet you, baby," Jaehyuk softly murmurs after the lullaby ends and Asahi suddenly feels a tight pressure against the inside of his bump. He grimaces, eyes wide as he looks to Jaehyuk who has the same expression.

"D-did she just—"

"Oh my god," Asahi! whispers, feeling another tight pressure and he beamed, "She just kicked!"

Jaehyuk watched in amazement, rubbing the spot gently as a huge smile spread on his face, "Our baby had her first kick."

"Yes!" Asahi beamed again, putting a hand over Jaehyuk's cheek, "She had her first kick after hearing her dad's voice!"

Jaehyuk could feel his vision starting to get blurry, his heart feeling so full and he quickly ducked down to press a kiss to the baby bump as Asahi giggled.

"If that's the case, then I promise to sing for you always," Jaehyuk whispers, pressing his cheek this time, "Daddy can't wait to meet you, baby."
