- At the beginning I must say, I've never had a crush from my surroundings, someone who lives close to me, in my school or something like that. I had only celebrity crushes, if I can call them celebrities, they aren't so famous. The first one was... Enya. I'm not a lesbian or anything absolutely if you have any doubts :D it was just youthful infatuation like many girls in puberty have, though I think I mustn't describe such obviously obvious things. She was my absolute idol, I had a hairstyle like her, tried to be like her, though not blindly imitate, I listened to her music for hours, had all her albums and many interviews. In that time I was in boarding school, I had all her albums on my audiodevice and thought about her a bit like my second, secret mummy, especially that we have many similar life experiences. I started to love and listen to her when I was 12, I'm not so infatuated now, though I still love her and her music and she gave me the love for Celtic music, culture, for Celtic countries and languages, not only Irish. The most weird thing is that I didn't like her music when I was a little girl, before that crush, it came so suddenly.
- Declan Galbraith. He just replaced Enya after few years of her reign. It was a real crush! I knew his music when I was 15 years old (I guess, but something like this for sure), he was 19 and I was just crazy on him! I didn't leave Enya, but I listened to Declan for hours, as previously to her. I dreamed and day-dreamed about him, listened and read interviews with him, even wrote with him for some time and it was amazing. That wasn't the best time for that crush, because he suspended his career because of university. So you can imagine how excited I was when he appeared again with new songs and then with concerts. He started his career as a 10-year-old boy, so he mainly covered songs, his second album was released whenhe was 15 and the third when he was 16, they are all very good, but not so good as this music he does now, it's even more ambitious and he still goes up, even though I was afraid that he might be sucked by the pop music and showbusiness and all that. This fascination laste until I was 17, but I still follow him and listen to him and love his music and think he's excellent and there are only few so young and so expressive artists.
- Cornelis Vreeswijk. This crush came directly after Declan, when I was 17, very tired of life and my boarding school, a bit depressive, didn't know what talents I really have and what I really like and hadn't anything I could be really good at and the time I couldn't stand it all and my parents brought me home and happy days came. Actually I knew Cornelis already in a 3rd grade of primary school, when I had a possibility to know Swedish language a bit and I heard his Balladen Om Herr Fredrik Akare Och Söta Fröken Cecilia Lind (The Ballad About Fredrik Driver And Sweet Miss Cecilia Lind) and I remembered it for ages. And one beautiful day in May I thought that I still love Swedish, I would like to know it, to speak it, to explore languages and then Cecilia Lind appeared in my mind, so I found this song and just loved Cornelis and his music. And then I became the lucky one, because I moved home and can learn Swedish now and do it. And Cornelis' music very helps me with it. I would love to one day translate his songs and poems to Polish. He died almost 30 years ago. Such crush isn't easy. But the excellent thing is that he's famous in Sweden and quite in Holland (his motherland), so I can find lots of informations about him. He was also an actor, he played one of main roles in film Rännstensungar (Gutterchildren or something like this literally) and it was amazing. There is also film about him, I cried after them both. And his discography's so huge, I always say that's like a bottomles well. And this crush is still with me. Although Declan was most intensive, this is also very powerful crush and lasts nearly three years.
