• Kachumbari Ingredients
  • 4 clean and sliced tomatoes
  • 2 medium sized onions
  • 2 grated carrots
  • 1 squeezed lemon or lime juice
  • 1 bunch Fresh coriander (dhania)
  • 2 chilies
  • A Pinch of salt

  • Start by Slicing your onions into thin rings, wash with salted water to reduce acidity then put in a bowl. You can also cut them into tiny cubes
  • Cut the tomatoes into thin ring slices and add to the bowl
  • Slice the chilies and coriander
  • Grate carrots evenly
  • Now mix the sliced onions, tomatoes, grated carrots, coriander and chilies into the bowl
  • Then add a pinch of salt to taste
  • Add the lemon or lime juice into the mixture
  • It’s now ready to serve!
