- Kachumbari Ingredients
- 4 clean and sliced tomatoes
- 2 medium sized onions
- 2 grated carrots
- 1 squeezed lemon or lime juice
- 1 bunch Fresh coriander (dhania)
- 2 chilies
- A Pinch of salt

- Start by Slicing your onions into thin rings, wash with salted water to reduce acidity then put in a bowl. You can also cut them into tiny cubes
- Cut the tomatoes into thin ring slices and add to the bowl
- Slice the chilies and coriander
- Grate carrots evenly
- Now mix the sliced onions, tomatoes, grated carrots, coriander and chilies into the bowl
- Then add a pinch of salt to taste
- Add the lemon or lime juice into the mixture
- It’s now ready to serve!
