• Outpouching of mucosa/submucosa that protrudes thru weak portion
• Most common= Zenker's Diverticulum (Pharyngeal pouch)

Manifestations:

• Diff. swallowing
• Fullness in neck
• Belching
• Regurgitation of undigested food (Food retained in diverticulum)
• Gurgling noises after eating
• HALITOSIS & sour taste in mouth

Management:

• Zenker's Diverticulum= surgical removal
