A list of injuries that sent me to the hospital, or scarred me for life... literally.

• Torn top lip, thanks to a dog who "kissed" me too hard, almost passed out from loss of blood, oldest memory I have, still have a scar, age 3
• Wicked-bad skinned elbow, flew over my bike handle bars, saw my own flesh on the sidewalk, still have a really cool oblong scar, age 6
• Broken left ring finger- broken in 5 places, smashed to bits, needed reconstructive plastic surgery, age 8
• Wicked-bad skinned knee, tripped running down rock-paved alley, rocks went into my skin, still have awesome star-shaped scars, age 12
• Reconstructive knee surgery/knee cap replacement, scariest shit of my life, 9 WEEKS ON CRUTCHES, age 14
• Pinched nerve in spine, led to elaborate chiropractic appointment, spinal realignment and assigning of orthodics, (one of my legs is longer than the other... yikes), age 17
• Horrible case of mononeucleosis, duration of 4 weeks, you should've seen how swollen my lymph nodes were, caused me to withdraw from college because I was out of school for too long, age 19
• Cut off left middle fingertip, 2nd week of culinary school, spent day in hospital, scared the shit out of everyone i knew, good times.... age 20
• Bad spill at work, onto a jagged concrete floor, 8 stitches in the knee, and a terrible sprained knee, age 23.
