Socially awkward (God, so socially awkward)
Older than my body lets on.
Dying to start life and experience new things, but am scared to.
All my mother has.
Tired practically all the time.
Unable to be motivated.
Emotionally invested in music and the well-being of others. Everything else I couldn't care less about.
Terrified of being hurt by someone, physically and mentally.
Probably not as weird as I think I am.

Being able to make believe and not be looked down upon for it.
Recording little ditties and fake interviews on my grandparents' tape player.
Having the freedom to sing in front of anyone, even stuff I made up. Somewhere along the way I lost that.
Innocence.
Not having to worry about getting a job.
Nickelodeon. It used to be so amazing!

My father calling me when I was in kindergarten to tell me he was getting married. I cried so hard, I just had a bad feeling about the situation. Turns out my feelings were right.
Living in England when I was around three years old. I remember driving by Big Ben, eating at Pizza Hut, choking on a Lifesaver (ironic), and hiding in the cupboards until my parents found me.
Playing make believe with my cousins who are pretty much like my brothers. We would play for hours, making up new creatures to be and playing Cowboys and Indians. I was always the Indian princess they had to rescue.
Christmas at my father's parents' house. The grown ups would never finish their dinner on time, so I and my two cousins would go lay underneath the Christmas tree and watch the lights.
