Plans if I become DECA President
President
- Streamline membership process: innocent until proven guilty, i.e. look through records, and those who did not show adequate time commitment = no longer members of DECA Woodlands
- Keep on-going, up-to-date digital membership database (passports, health cards...)
- New fundraising initiative to go against last year's loss of Wieners
- T-shirts for all members
- Lessons: both concrete and soft skills; gr9 = too focused on marketing, grade 10/11 = too focused on presentation style -- give a mix of both
Public Relations/Communications Officer (Ontario)
- Modify deca.ca website to be more user-friendly, browser compatible, and easily accessible for all DECA Ontario members
- Improve the aesthetic appeal and readability of DECA Ontario promotional material
