Being with a kid always takes you to being a kid somehow, and they really are showing me a childhood I might not have had in some way. It's never too late to have a happy childhood!

- CORTIS – Go, as the first song to introduce CORTIS, it really shows who we are and our vibe as a team. The music and performance are both so catchy that they stick with you for a long time. It’s also a track we honestly have a lot of fun performing on stage, so we hope you enjoy it with us too.

- CORTIS – What You Want, What You Want was inspired by '70s psychedelic rock. I listen to a lot of rock in general, and since I’m such a huge fan of it, this track ended up being my favorite on the album. It fully captures the kind of energy only CORTIS can bring to the table.

- CORTIS – FaSHioN, FaSHioN is all about fashion, which is probably the one thing we all love the most. I love the verse lyrics because they tell our story in such an honest, straightforward way. It’s also one of those tracks that’s perfect for having fun on stage, so I hope you c...

I also wanted to be a swimmer before I really committed to the entertainment industry. Since I was a little child, I have been involved in this sport, and I have even attained the top rating for my age. Even though I ultimately decided to go a different route, the discipline and energy from the athletics world have carried over into my current work.

I was born on February 14, 2009, in Suwon, South Korea, and attended Pajang Elementary School before transferring to another school. During my trainee era, I demonstrated my skill in the entertainment industry by performing BTS's song "Dynamite" in an audition. My career expanded after joining BIGHIT Music in 2021 and then debuting with CORTIS. Being the group's maknae attracted unique attention, particularly because of my singing ability and originality. So, nice word, I'm still a kid. 😁

- Radiohead – Planet Telex, I first heard this song on the flight to New Zealand for the music video shoot. I liked it so much that I just kept it on repeat, even on the flight back to Korea. Now, whenever I think about the moment I first set foot in New Zealand, this track comes to mind. And honestly, it's not just Planet Telex, I'm into the whole The Bends album. 👍

- Justin Bieber – THINGS YOU DO, I suggest you listen to this song since it's quite entertaining and lets you take a brief break from the world's chaos. Everything makes you feel good about yourself!

Spring, summer, autumn, and winter are South Korea's four separate seasons. Everybody has a different favourite season, which makes sense given the distinct ambiance of each one. For me, winter is the best season. This is due to the fact that I like spending time on trips or travelling throughout the winter! 🥶❄️

My fondness of French fries is a basic but interesting characteristic about me that is intimately related to my personality. This simple snack has been a favourite since my trainee days, and I've even been asked if I still eat it frequently. My candid response made my adolescent side seem even more authentic to my fans. Hahaha, I got you all!

Midnight in Paris, my favourite part of this movie was the appearances by the 1920s (and later, 1890s) figures. Corey Stoll is brash and brooding as Hemingway, Kathy Bates puts in a comforting performance as Gertrude Stein, and Adrien Brody had me in stitches as Salvador Dalí. Even in a movie featuring long-dead artists and writers, Allen is able to inject a number of great one-liners. I loved Hemingway's random query, "Have you ever shot a lion?!" and Dali's constant talk of rhinoceroses. If you're at all familiar with the culture or personalities from this period, you'll get a kick out of these sequences. Midnight in Paris adopts the outlook of Gil, in that it doesn't rush its story to the next event. There is no unnatural climax in the style of many Hollywood films. There aren't any high stakes, other than the happiness of the characters. The film is all about the quiet contemplation o...

Aside from my hectic life as an idol (haha), I have a puppy named Cookie who constantly keeps my company. I often refer to the small puppy with devotion, which contributes to my image as a compassionate individual. Many of my fans feel more connected to me because of this warmth. But don't fear, each of you will receive my affection fairly. Arf-arf.
