-Jiang Wanyin, Jiang Cheng, Sandu Shengshou, uncle of Jin Ling, brother of Jiang Yanli. He held many titles, and worked with many different hats, but the thing in his life that was missing most was someone to assist him in his struggle at raising a barely month old, orphaned child. Cue the entrance of the eldest jade of Lan, prim, proper, and loved by all. When first met with the worn out Jiang Cheng his inability to leave others alone while they're struggling most kicked in, and leads to a lot of confusion, bad decisions, and then finally a chance for the both of them to be healed from wounds of their past.
-His body’s paralyzing internal litany of !!!!!!!!! doesn’t let up until suddenly he hears Lan Wangji respond, a low, tight Wei Ying that sounds more like a benediction than a name. It's pure worship and adoration, honey and heat, all things Jiang Cheng could've gone ten lifetimes without hearing from Lan Wangji’s throat. Especially for his brother.
Then there is the unmistakable clap of a hand on an ass and finally, finally his paralysis breaks and he turns to get the fuck out of here -
And he runs smack into Zewu-Jun himself.
-As they celebrate the death of Wen Ruohan, Jiang Cheng is propositioned by Lan Xichen, whom he has always admired. However, this one lapse in judgement leads to a deep rift between them - and an unexpected surprise.
-Ever since he was young, Jingyi knew that he was missing a parent. The thing that bothered him the most about this was that his a-die was clearly suffering and lonely. At first, he had to settle for stories of his fuqin - the First Jade of Lan, a beautiful and powerful cultivator. But then he was sent to study in the Cloud Recesses, where he met the other side of his family. He was determined to find out why his parents won't speak to each other; what happened fifteen years ago. How he can perhaps mend the rift between them.
-If one asked Lan Xichen about having children a few years ago, he would’ve said the idea of a family was nice, but it was entirely impossible for him. Having the leader of the Jiang Sect for a partner, he should’ve known -- impossibilities were always achievable.
-Sneaky lovers, gathered under the swirl of mixed emotions. A silent romance that was set in the shadow of the storm and whose circumstances didn't allow love to completely win. Hidden and protected by the moonlight, they conceived a secret of love.
-Xichen turned Jiang Cheng’s wrist inwards, and licked a stripe across the pale skin, all the while maintaining eye contact with him. Jiang Cheng’s pupils were blown, but there was still a hint of hesitancy. Lan Xichen nipped at the thin skin then, eliciting a shudder from Jiang Cheng.
“I will take such good care of you.” Lan Xichen whispered. “I’ll take away your control, and teach you to bend instead of breaking.”
