• Ben Linus, The best actor on the show AND the most interesting character
• James "Sawyer" Ford, The GOD of hi-larious one-liners; never a dull moment with Sawyer
• Sayid Jarrah, By far, the most badass character on the show
• Desmond Hume, A time-traveling, psychic Scottsman? I effing LOVE it!
• Mr. Eko, A close second to Sayid for most badass; his life on the show was much too short
• John Locke, Sometimes he's a genius, sometimes he's a moron and sometimes he's downright looney, but he's always fun to watch
• Jack Shephard, A bit of a downer and a prude at times but, hey, he's the leader!
• (TIE) Sun Kwon, The most intelligent (and consistent) female character on the show
  • AND Jin Kwon, The fact he is able to communicate so much while speaking so few words is the sign of a really good character, and a really great actor
• Kate Austen, Maybe the most inconsistent character on the show, but she still kicks ass... and no one looks better swingin' an axe in a sun dress
• (TIE) Hugo "Hurley" Reyes, You gotta love the funny fat guy who provides comic relief; BUT he's also annoying when getting sentimental and acting psycho
  • AND Daniel Faraday, Could possibly be higher had he been on the show longer; a very intriguing character

And while we're at it, here are the 5 WORST characters on LOST...

• Ana-Lucia Cortez, It took waaaay too long to kill her off the show; GOD I fucking HATED her!
• Achara (The Thai chick who gave Jack his tattoo), She was only in one episode... and it just so happened to be the worst episode of LOST EVER! Coincidence? FUCK NO!
• Shannon Rutherford, Besides being nice to look at, she was the most useless recurring character on the show
• Nikki Fernandez, Ok, so besides her bodacious boobies, why was she on the show again??
• Paulo, Nikki's male counterpart; provided some eye candy for the ladies and not much else besides a weird storyline that went nowhere
