It should be common sense that working in a science-based environment means not touching stuff you don't recognise. But then, Jim was never one for critical thinking. Oh well. Now he's got to keep going through that portal in the basement until he gets back to his own dimension! ... Which could take a while.

  • Atrocious chef. Pretty much only buys ready-cooked meals because good LORD he cannot cook.
  • He has real good reflexes though! No dropping anything in the lab because he's always swooped across and caught it
  • He really really loves nature just, as a thing. He has a bunch of well-used David Attenborough DVDs and if he hadn't gone into biophysics he'd have definitely gone into botany or horticulture!!

  • Just... so kind and good and lovely. Such a delight to be around.
  • Knows if you like tea or coffee. Knows how much milk and sugar you take. Knows exactly how hot you like it. Basically he will bring you a drink when you start your shift.
  • Likes being on the shorter side because it makes him feel super cute tbqh
  • Has like five cats and when he comes home at night he curls up with them in his comfortably dimly-lit bedroom and reads until the purrs practically make him fall asleep
