Ix has been the 'help' on a spaceship for a long time. Every 90 days, someone new is beamed in, and has to pilot the ship for the next 90 days. At the end, they either get beamed back, or they're already dead. Ix wishes he could have a friend to keep.

What defines a robot? If you leave a robot in a simulation meant to induce feelings long enough, do you think it will gain a real, uncontrolled consciousness?

Yes. If you're good at your job. Shame Ix's creator died in prison for multiple murder charges before he could ever meet him and ask why he did this, huh?

  • He's just. So so kind. It's a shame he's not really supposed to leave his surveillance room because he wants to meet each of his new friends..... he's only gotten to a couple of times, and by then they were. Well. Y'know.
  • SO big. Could lean in a doorway but he'd be facing a wall if he did. Has to duck under whenever he's moving around. Wishes he wasn't quite so terrifying at first glance.
  • Doesn't quite realise that he's the one that's an abnormal size. Just thinks all humans are very small and animals are even smaller. Finds it very cute. He loves cute things. :3
  • Has LED strips running down his cheeks that indicate his emotions! Every colour has a individual meaning, green being neutral, yellow happy, blue sad, etc etc. It can fade if he's feeling more than one thing at once.
  • Doesn't Need to eat or sleep, but is capable of both, and does just because. Sleep cosie and food good.
  • Completely unaware that he's just. Plugged into a simulator in an abandoned old warehouse in the middle of nowhere that's filled with the 'corpses' of previous versions of him that didn't quite work. Oh weel. He'll get out eventually.
