you know how i struggle with communicating my emotions verbally (and keeping a straight face while doing so lol), so i hope you don't mind me writing this letter on this platform.

i first want to express my gratitude to you. celebrating this day in your honor is as important to me as it is to you. i'm very lucky to be close with somebody who values kindness, and considers their friends and their relationships highly. i cannot stress enough how much i appreciate you being a part of my life, especially since i have opened myself the most to you.

during all these years we have known each other every opportunity to bond and strengthen our friendship was taken and spent wisely (but we need more sfkjfs).

i hope the best for you on your birthday. i still can't believe you're turning thirteen, on the brink of entering high school while i'm on the brink of entering university. it's unbelievable how we get along despite our age gap. just remember to take it easy. personally my eighth grade year was a breeze. as long as you choose the right people to be around and complete your studies timely, you'll be fine.
