i would just like to use this birthday letter as an opportunity to let you know how much i appreciate you on your special day.

despite 2020 being an absolute poophole and despite the fact that we can barely hang out because of current circumstances, i am still happy that we have kept our friendship strong not just through this year alone, but for several years. there are people out there who have completely lost contact with their friends so us keeping in touch is very meaningful to me. even receiving one text from you is enough to make my day. but the most important part is that you stay happy.

one of the many great qualities that i admire from you is your ability to stay positive and see the light in any situation. believe it or not i learned many things from you and all the heartfelt advice you have given me over the years continue to shape me into a better person.

every time i am feeling down, i think of people like you, who are my friends and undeniably care about me. so this brings me to my gift to you. this listography is created just for you. you can refer back to it on any occassion, whenever you need it. i hope that these 'open when' cards will strengthen/motivate you, keep you occupied, or simply brighten up your day.
