I digest media critically: I find that it is imperative to view controversial novels / films through an objective lens. For example, books such as Lolita are written to disturb and promote commentary, not to be eroticized. To do so is deplorable and unintellectual. That said; I do not condone nor romanticize any ill action within fiction I favor.
