- College-bound English IV: it's because of you, Mrs. Campbell, that I write as I do. A "B" in your class guaranteed me an "A" in any collegiate English course with no revisions.
- Honors Economics 100: this class, and the professor, brought about the change from physics to economics as my major.
- Rural Sociology: growing up in a small town in Kentucky, I thought I could learn nothing else about the minds of rural America, but I was clearly wrong.
- Karate I: this was perhaps one of the most energizing courses I've ever taken.
- Business Ethics: it's sad that I took this as one of the final electives for my MBA, but it was the most liberating and life-altering class I have ever had the fortune to encounter. Because of this course, I turned down a promotion at a job where I knew the people had little-to-no moral code and began working towards who I wanted to become.
