(* - seen before) (May contain spoilers)

  • Avengers
  • Captain America
  • Game of Thrones series 2
  • Hustle series 1
  • Rise of the Planet of the Apes - Good, although I was a little disappointed to find that Tom Felton had a bad-guy role - I want to see some different acting!
  • Hunger Games - Good! Some of the actors didn't exactly look like they were starving in the districts though...
  • Game of Thrones series 1 - AWESOME! Reading the books as well, can't wait to see series 2! Also lots of familiar face such as the guy from Robin Hood and LOOK IT'S ROGER ALLAM AGAIN! =L
  • Third Star* - Got the boyfriend to watch it =)
  • Anastasia (the first half an hour or so anyway) - fell asleep
  • Shrek 4 - Hilarious, but very sad. Made me cry.
  • Wild Child* - love the stupid American bits! XD
  • Leap Year - meh
  • Monsters Inc* - haven't seen it in years!
  • Gattaca - Awesome, but so sad.
  • Thor - good, but I seem to have a skewed view of Loki, probably because of tumblr...
  • Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows - Amazing, just as good as the first one, with more homo-erotic subtext and MORIARTY!
  • Serenity - The film of the TV series Firefly, brilliant!
  • PotC: On Stranger Tides - Finally watched this! LOOK IT'S ROGER ALLAM AGAIN! Also Uncle Vernon as the king with his thumbs up! Missed Will and Elizabeth though =/
  • Sherlock Holmes* - Finally got round to watching the DVD I bought about 6 months ago! =D
  • Star Wars IV: A New Hope* - Haven't seen it in years!
  • Red Dwarf (The End, Kryten, Holoship)* - (Red Dwarf night at the sci-fi society) Awesome as always!
  • (Most of) Survival (DW serial) - Quite funny! It was good to see some classic Who.
  • Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy - Wow. A bit confusing, very surprising, LOVED IT though. Want to read the book and then see it again =D
  • Third Star* - AMAZING as before <3
  • The Queen - Good. It's rather amusing to see that the royal family sits in their living room and watches BBC news the same as anyone else! XD (Also ROGER ALLAM!)
  • Forest Gump - can't believe I haven't seen it before, but it was so good! <3
  • The Last Samurai - better than I thought it would be, a nice view of traditional Japan.
  • Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - a bit Inception-y I thought
  • Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2* - The first film I've been to the cinema twice to see <3
  • The Shawshank Redemption - Amazing! <3
  • Little Red Riding Hood - Ha! Recognised Catherine Hsrdwick's style! Also, too much focus on the love triangle and I barely knew who was who...
  • Green Hornet - The main guy reminded me of Dylan Saunders (Dumbledore in AVPM), but it was funny.
  • Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 - AMAZINGGGG! <33
  • Rango - Good.
  • Paul - Really good - I love Simon Pegg and Nick Frost!
  • Easy A - Much better than I was expecting - nice to have a film where the main character is the girl who no one notices rather than the person everyone notices because they bully them...
  • Einstein and Eddington - Love it! David Tennant and Andy Serkis? <3
  • Inception - Awesome! XD Hehe!
  • Starter For Ten - Hmm... I was expecting it to be better. Benedict Cumberbatch was good acting wise. I think the reason I didn't like it was because I didn't like any of the characters. Good twist at the end, although it was a bit cringey. =/
  • Toy Story* - Hehe! Borrowed my friend's trilogy set because I haven't seen this for SO LONG!! It's also now ten times funnier now because I can wear
    slash goggles! XD
  • Third Star - Wow. AWESOME!! It's one of those films that isn't all MASSIVE CLIMAX and then HAPPY ENDING and is therefore so much better. Benedict Cumberbatch was amazing as always! Very funny and also incredibly sad at the same time. The entire cinema had tears in their eyes or in their laps when it finished. Plus we met the producer/script writer afterwards =D
  • Men Who Stare At Goats - better than I expected! It was hilarious to see/hear Ewan McGregor ask 'What's a Jedi warrior?' And it was one of those stories that doesn't exactly follow the standard pattern of happy start, climax, you think it's solved, oh no it's not, okay now it really is and we can have a happy ending - I prefer this way! I was also surprised it was British made (or at least British sponsored) seeing as it was about America and had quite big names it!
  • Enchanted* - Pretty good. This was the (at least) third time I've seen it and it's getting a little boring now, but the start and the end are still good! =P
  • How To Train Your Dragon - AH-MA-ZING!! As practically everyone else I've talked to has said, I WANT ONE!! They are basically cats made even cuter and more powerful and more intelligent! XD
  • Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1* - saw this in the cinema last year but forgot to put it on here (seen it three times now). Pretty good. Never as good as the book. Now the films are nearing the end they are in a very definite separate compartment to the books in my head. They just can't be compared. I liked it though - not one of my least favourite of the series.
  • Scott Pilgrim Vs The World - Awesome! Loved the way they made it videogame-esque! XD
  • Wilde - Really good! I didn't know much about his life but it was quite amusing that everyone thought he'd be remembered as the homosexual guy who went to jail.
  • The Boat That Rocked - loved it! Although I was quite annoyed he got back with Marianne after she slept with Dave... \=|
  • Twilight* - Meh, mainly watching it for the lulz.
  • 27 Dresses - it was okay, quite predictable, not really my thing
  • The Sound of Music* - singing along with friends is always fun! XD
  • The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - some bits were a bit disturbing, but it was as tastefully done as possible. I quite liked it and I look forward to seeing the second one.
  • Bram Stoker's Dracula - a bit weird, but reasonably accurate to the book. Too 'sexified' is that makes sense =/
  • The Secret of Moonacre - based on a really lovely book (The Little White Horse), but spoiled the story I think. Probably quite good if you haven't read the book, although some of the acting was rather wooden, and you have to suspend your disbelief so that she can learn to ride perfectly in a day. All I could think all the way through was that Robin looks like Boy George... XD
  • The Lovely Bones - Quite good, rather creepy! Sad. ='(
  • The Road - Meh, was good acting etc, but wasn't that interesting a story. Just stopped at the end. The gist of it seemed to be 'If the world goes like that we're screwed - all we can do is die or survive'
  • The King's Speech (cinema) - AMAZING! Deserves to win all 12 Oscars it's nominated for! XD
  • Sherlock Holmes* - Saw it at the cinema last year - it's amazing, but not quite as awesome as the BBC series!
  • The Hurt Locker - I really liked this film - I feel it portrayed reality (it seemed to anyway - I don't actually know how accurate it is) and I couldn't help but relate it to John Watson: "You aren't traumatised by the war, you miss it" [probably not the exact quote: Mycroft, BBC Sherlock] XD
  • The Time-Traveller's Wife - it was okay. I didn't like that we knew and had seen what was going to happen, but I did like that his daughter time-travelled and could control it.
  • Alice in Wonderland* - got it for Christmas - I love it!
  • Brokeback Mountain - A-MA-ZING! XD LOVE IT! But oh so sad at the end ='( Fanfiction here I come!
  • The Fountain - One of those ambiguous films, where you're never sure exactly what's going on - not usually my kind of thing, but it was quite good
  • Fantastic Mr Fox - It was quite unique and interesting... I think they humanised and Americanised it too much though =(
  • Amazing Grace* - =O IT HAS BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH IN IT! I've seen it before, and I loved it, but this realisation made it that little bit more amazing! XD
  • Surrogates - A lot better than I thought it would be, and it was hilarious when they all just fell over XD
  • A Matter of Life and Death - interesting twist at the end - interesting way of looking at (who would've guessed?) Life and Death
  • Dorian Gray - WOW! Someday I will get round to writing a blog on this!
  • Sherlock (BBC TV series) - AMAZING!! The only reason I'm not in love with Sherlock is that I want Holmes and Watson to get together... ^.^ <3
  • The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen - cool, there should be a sequel...
  • The Two Towers* - I just love LOTR - the video of Fellowship of the Ring that I had got stuck in the VCR so my dad had to cut it out ='( its a bit annoying having to start with the second one
  • Toy Story 3 (cinema)- AMAZING! I swear its aimed at older teens and adults though! =L
  • Sleepy Hollow - Johnny Depp, need I say more?
  • Schindler's List - WHY don't they teach you about this at school? Everyone knows about Anne Frank, but she's peanuts compared to Schindler! =(
  • Saving Private Ryan - I cried =') Brilliant film though, you learn a lot about strategy!
  • Howl's Moving Castle - Love Howl! ^.^
  • Avatar - great CGI, not sure why there was that much fuss, but I didn't see it in 3D. Saw it twice in 2 days and didn't find it tedious though!
  • Bride Wars - meh!
  • Mission Without Permission - Wow! Turns out Kristen Stewart could act at one time, albeit not amazingly!
  • Up - cool film, not much to say about it
  • Trailfinder - Good, very violent - made me wonder why it wasn't an 18 but Sweeney Todd is =/
  • The Reader - Again, seemed like it should have been an 18. Was disappointed with the ending because I'd heard it was amazing - wasn't impressed with the storyline.
  • The Invasion - Good, interesting story, seemed to die a little at the end (they couldn't think of a better ending?)
  • Van Helsing - Nice adventure film. Add to DVD library for when I'm a millionnaire =)
