- Bloom's Taxonomy - teaching higher & lower-order thinking skills rather than just focusing on the basic skills like grasping knowledge content and comprehension. Being able to apply, analyse, evaluate and critique are, I'd say, more indicative of the degree to which a child is thinking about what they are learning and the probability that HOW they are learning (process) will be beneficial outside of school

Go beyond teaching-to-test. Teach to foster development intellectually, emotionally, spiritually. Not just to mould learners as entrepreneurial citizens but as wordly, ethical, inventive and collaborative people
