- Yaiba's personality is something of a Dandere and Oujidere combination. He's generally open with his emotions and cares very much about his brothers. He tends to give Vincent, his Squad leader, plenty of varying nicknames, but eventually reverts back to "Vincent" each time, upon worn request. He calls Ryota and Riku, "nii-san" and "nii-sama", respectively as his older siblings. He cares for them very much that, in some cases, he will get extremely reckless for their defense. He has a slight soft spot for females, even some vampires, but usually doesn't let that bother or distract him too much from his responsibilities. Yaiba likes to put effort into things he feels will make him "important" or a "valuable asset". This is because internally, he faces severe insecurity and feelings of inferiority. He usually does well to mask this trait though with an upbeat demeanor. But when his mask shatters, he either breaks down in a teary mess or is a highly aggressive mess that needs to be held back.
