Because this has been an issue in the past, we wish to clarify this right away:

  • Yes, we have MCU fictives here who are Hydra-aligned.
    • Because we've lost friends over this before, we wish to clarify our Hydra folks' position in regards to canon and politics since we've been (wrongly) accused of supporting fascism one too many times. For those unaware/just getting to know us:
      • We’re very vocal about the differences not only between canons, but canon and our own individual timeline. We will not go into details on our own personal version of events, because it’s long… and personal. (People are free to ask in private, but we’re not discussing it here.) Still, some people have made assumptions about us without knowing us at all, and it’s a great source of frustration.
      • In our entirety, we reject and STRONGLY oppose Naziism and their ideals, and any form of white supremacy. Coming from at least three different minority groups ourselves (disabled, trans, and otherwise LGBT+) as well as being completely against antisemitism, racism, and misogyny in general, we find the entire concept of Naziism/white supremacy/the “alt-right” to be heinous and reprehensible. That is not who we are. That is not what we stand for. Full stop. Period. We demand nothing less than the equity and protection of all minorities; the disabled; women’s rights; reproductive rights; voter’s rights, and religious freedom.

Furthermore:

  • Yes, we have a Marvel fictive here who identifies as Sebastian Shaw.
    • No, he isn't a Nazi, either.
      • Yes, he's still an asshole.

And while we're at it:

  • Yes, we do have several fictives who are, canonly, abusive.
    • Please leave them alone. They're often noticeably non-canon, and are trying to get better and start a new life here, regardless.
      • Especially Kilgrave. He is very AU, and just wants to be left alone in his sensory overloaded violet hell, thank you.

Thank you for your understanding!
