• a semi-formal outfit that can be made formal when heels are added
• make up bag
• hair pins, hair spray
• pair of jeans and a presentable top
• pair of sweats
• two pairs of underwear, two bras
• one pair of socks
• flats, heels, tennis shoes
• shampoo, toothpaste, tooth brush, deodorant, comb
• picture ID, passport
• 3 granola bars
• ipod, cell phone
• notebook, pen (have emergency numbers and addresses in notebook before departure)
• emergency cash hidden somewhere intimate on your person

-it has been my experience that these are all you really need to get along any place. here's the rule of thumb, if it can't all be fit into a single carry on item (a backpack is best) it is not worth taking. - <3
