Some clarification needed for this because I'm not exactly interacting with this in a linear manner. Originally my interest was piqued by a certain ThanUri comic and I thought I would be satisfied with just fics, then their wiki pages and then random clips floating around youtube. Now I'm too deep in this hole and am currently going through the cutscenes on youtube (I'm not really interested in playing the game itself). I'm not watching the expansions in the right order either though because I was impatient and wanted to get the juicy stuff so I skipped straight to shadowbringers. I do intend to go back and watch the older patches in full however. For the specifics of where I'm up to:

• ARR: not watched save for a couple important clips
• HW: not watched but I've seen several clips and I have the basic gist of what's going on
• SB: I know basically nothing abt this arc except this is when the scions get conked out
• Shb: watched the entirety of 5.0-5.3. Mostly skipped through 5.4. Watched parts of 5.5.
• EW: have watched the entirety of 6.0. Not caught up on 6.1 or later patches yet.

As for spoilers, you can tell me anything abt Urianger and Thancred since I've read about the important things anyway but for anything else like Haurchefant or whatever don't say anything because I want to be emotionally destroyed in my own time.

Other Final Fantasy games I've associated with:

• Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales (played this as a kid. don't remember anything about it)
• Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time (I am not 100% certain but I think this was the game I played with my siblings when I was a kid. Don't ask me about the plot lmao all I remember is that I wore the gold armour with the blue feathers and could double/triple (back?)flip.)
• Final Fantasy 8 - watched a stream highlight video on this. what the fuck is going on in this plot.
• Final Fantasy 16 - watched all the cutscenes (though I may have gotten a little too trigger happy with the 10 second skip button in the mid-late endgame part). Cid in this game is unreasonably sexy what the hell.
