- Nov 5 The semester's almost over and I'm ready for it just be done already! Rawrrawrrawr! Oh yeah, and Thanksgiving break! Hurrah!
- Nov 2 Wait... it's November! Ugh, how did this happen?! Also, what is my life? Every time I look back at my life a couple of months ago I think, "I would've bet money that *this* would've happened." or, "I could've sworn this would be dealt with by now." And I used to be correct in those guesses. I could easily predict my life. Now I never know what's going to happen. It's weird. But I'm getting stuff done and can see some good changes slowly happening.
- Oct 26 I've never been so busy in all of my life.
- Oct 23 All I can say about the week so far is that it has been intense in every way. Academically, emotionally, socially and physically, in that I haven't had enough sleep and my stomach felt like it was going to eat itself this morning and I don't mean I was hungry. It hurt a lot. But with all that, it has also been intensely good at times. Seeing as we're only three days in, a lot has been packed into this short span of time. It feels like it's been twice that. The rest of the week is looking like it'll be about the same, and while I'm pretty burnt out, I'm also kind of masochistically curious of how it'll turn out. At least I have Saturday to look forward to.
- Oct 22 LOL Taylor Swift is "breaking up the Kennedy family" by sneaking into yacht parties and cheating on Conor Kennedy with his cousin. How terribly funny. I hope Conor puts out an album all about how she ruined his life. Did I mention that I"M a Kennedy? So funny.
- Oct 21 Um, yeah. Been a long time. Not that much has happened. I've been very stressed and trying to figure things out, which seems to be my lot in life. My cousin has moved in with us, I'm more mixed up about the two main dudes in my life than ever, and I want to quit school and run away on a concert tour of the United States. Other than that, things are about the same.
- Oct 5 Awesome time with the Andersons and Cam-Cam and Bekers tonight. Need to reclaim my position of Master of Mario Kart. UNACCEPTABLE CONDITION!
- Sep 29 Awesome time with Les, Cait and Ryne tonight. Hadn't laughed that hard in a long time. Also, very little homework. It's a good week.
- Sep 28 Officially going to the Avett Brothers concert on Sunday! Yesssss.
- Sep 27 Wow. I. am. exhausted. I haven't had this crazy of a week... probably ever. Today was especially crazy.
- Sep 26 Think I'm going to give up on life and join Trent in his plan to be a traveling hobo.
- Sep 24 Is it financially responsible to go to the Avett Brothers concert? No. Will it make my life better? Yes. Is it worth? Mmm... yeah. Yeah it is!
- Sep 23 Music went well today. Mission lesson was good. Food was even better.
- Sep 22 Not gonna pretend that I haven't sucked at Listography lately. Saw BritBeat tonight at the Corn Festival. Good times. Then I got on YouTube and found I had the top comment on an Avett Brothers video I'd watched about a week ago. This made me ridiculously excited. Mostly cuz I thought it was a pretty clever comment and was glad other people thought so too. Also, gaining some popularity on YouTube myself. Partly thanks to Denver recommending me to other people, and of course thanks to anyone who shared my video on Facebook and things. Every share, comment and thumbs-up helps. If you haven't seen my latest videos you totes should. C'mon. Help a sista out. http://www.youtube.com/tarakennedy91
- Sep 14 Finally bought the new Avett Brothers CD with the extra monies I'm making tutoring and taking care of Gypsy. It's amazing. The CD, I mean. And the monies too, I guess. Yeah. Awesome.
- Sep 11 Erm... so I've been sucking at Listography lately. That's school for ya. But I should mention that I've got two new jobs! I'm going to start tutoring a 1st grader on Thursday, and start walking, watering and feeding Colleen's dog a few days a week, since her work schedule's interfering with her Gypsy time (um, Gypsy is her dog, she's not joining a gypsy band or anything). Should rake in an extra $40 a week :D
- Sep 6 I have fans :)
- Sep 3 It was a good weekend. Now back to real life. Up at 6 am tomorrow, yay!
- Sep 2 I love the Gambill family. You'd think with all those grandsons I could marry in, but noooo.
- Sep 1 August is finally over! I swear, it was the longest month all year. Not that I didn't enjoy my birthday; it was actually quite nice having it stretched out over three days. Plus today I received my last b-day gift in the mail and went to Terre Haute with Mom (who bought me two shirts and dinner!) so it was sort of a four-day celebration. Now homework for the rest of the weekend yayayay
- Aug 31 Quick summary of 2nd half of birthday week: Wednesday (my b-day) I got home around 9 pm to find a cake on the table and Reagan running around like a spaz. I opened a couple of presents, wolfed down a sandwich and had piece of cake. I had to be up at the crack of dawn the next day so the celebration ended there. Thursday, Colleen came over for my birthday dinner. I opened her present (a candle, a scarf, a Beluga whale mug and some booze) and had a half-hearted Old Time Family Hootenanny. Tonight was my party. Michael and Dad are gone for the weekend to my grandparents', but we had plenty of people to make up for it: Bekah, Bessie (who got off work early, surprise!), Trent, Hil, Maryssa, Cam and Tony all showed up. We went to Backstreet for dinner, sat around the fire for s'mores and had a thrilling game of Mafia to finish off the evening. 21 ain't so bad.
- Aug 28 Weird, roller coaster of a day.
- Aug 27 Tried Zumba for the first time tonight. Missy talked me into going, and it wasn't too bad. Some of the footwork was unnecessarily complicated but other than that, it was a good time. I'm already sore. I won't want to get up in the morning... at 6. Meh.
- Aug 26 Went from feeling totally overwhelmed by homework and cursing my science teacher to showing a little discipline and getting it all sorted out. Now I'm starving and pondering some deep questions about the mission field and my as-always weirdo love life (nothing to get excited about, let me assure you). Think I'll have me a Nutella bagel and call it a night. P.S. I was looking over my Books list and it's not at all embarrassing. I feel like an established reader.
- Aug 25 Man, it happened again. I had my Thought typed out, then my dumb list was too long to save. I pretty much said that Linguistics was my fav class so far, ELEM ED was seemed the easiest and science would probs be the death of, since algebra didn't finish the job. Also, I discovered a hidden talent tongiht: corn hole (the outdoor, glorified version of bean-bag toss). Not a talent I would've chosen, but that's just it; you can't choose your talents. Btw, the front page of Listography reminds me of Horton Hears a Who.
