Here's the truth about telling stories with your life. It's going to sound like a great idea, and you are going to get excited about it, and then when it comes time to do the work, you're not going to want to do it. People love to have lived a great story, but few people like the work it takes to make it happen. But joy costs pain... don't let your story get stolen by the easy life.
Its a new year. Last semester, last year, is behind you. Go forward and live it up.
big goals:
- work hard
- live up to potential
- enjoy your life, college wont last forever
- make money for argentina... and life really
- help dad get healthy (not moms version)
school:
- read ALL assignments for class, even the ones that are optional/no one else is reading
- turn in ALL assignments on time
- actually learn the material, dont slide by like usual just because you can
- make friends with people in classes
- take advantage of teachers and groups
mental health:
- read at least one nonfiction and one fiction book a month that is not required by school
- finish one crossword puzzle a week, ask everyone you know, as long as you finish
- DONT WATCH TV!!!
physical health:
- eat organic as much as possible
- cook 4 home made meals a week AT LEAST.. not just pizza and pastaroni
- make as much as you can from scratch, tastes better/cheaper
- try not to drink things out of cans (except beer probs)
- try to bike to class at least once a week... depending on weather and time
- get out of the house! go do things, meet people, dont pass up opportunities because you're an introvert
- yoga at least three times a week- enhance balance, strenth, flexability, stress relief
social:
- try and get up to duluth at least twice..once in fall, once in spring? hike, explore, party with kare and friends
- make it to madtown at least once
- court... i'll see her around, not worried about it
- hope, lives too far away but whenever she comes back, hang with her
- dan, maybe me and jess will venture to the farmtown? idk seems like a lot of traveling for me
spiritual:
- you know, pray
- get at least 2 hours in a week of either church/ podcast/ discussion/ reading... things that make me learn/think/grow
