- weather (precipitation, heat) flows upside down sometimes
- magic is very real
- area coated in liquid glass that drains into the sea, surrounded on one side by desert
- Ice storms in the Desert happens sometimes
- plates and portals (invisible to the earthling eye) reside in the air. earthbound creatures use these to get to floating islands or otherwise inaccessible high places. These plates can sense intent, therefore making them harmless to someone falling unless they WANT to hit it
