- I remember basically nothing before Westin Hills, just that my parents were kinda distant
- Taryn was my first friend there, she and I bonded really quickly and I viewed her as my big sister- we were both really defensive of each other and would stick up for each other if the doctors said anything negative
- None of us liked Dr. Simms but I actually kind of hated her because of the way she talked down to Taryn, since Taryn had used drugs
- Phillip and I were really really close (boyfriends? maybe? I dunno for sure but I do know I had romantic feelings for him), I remember spending a lot of days in his room watching him make puppets- he’d always explain what he was doing to me because he knew I was genuinely interested in it
- I remember Phillip sometimes talking about how shitty his parents were, and I stole one of his puppets (the astronaut one, I think) from his room before his parents collected his things after his death
- Will and Taryn really helped (Kincaid too), but I blamed myself for Phillip’s death, because if I could’ve talked then maybe I could’ve stopped it/gotten other people there faster
- Kincaid and I were also really close, he and Phillip both teased me a lot but it was really affectionate- Kincaid took the longest to warm up to me but after we were released from Westin Hills he and I did date
- I went over to Kincaid’s house a lot and spent the night regularly, I remember his mom being really nice to me even though I was still selectively mute and couldn’t say much to her outside of short answers (I only really talked to Kincaid, Kristen and her boyfriend, Alice, Debbie, and Sheila)
- I loved Kincaid’s dog a lot, Jason was a big sweetheart and liked to pretend to be tough even though he was just a teddy bear- Kincaid and I joked that he’d have to sleep on the couch if Jason hopped onto the bed before Kincaid could join me because I loved the dog so much
- Kincaid and I both kind of disliked Rick because of the tough guy act and the way he treated us at first, but I was always glad he was protective of Kristen and never minded her nightmares- Alice and I got along really well though, and so did Debbie and Kincaid I think?
