- I'm not gonna start by saying La La Land is a very good, perfect, amazing, breathtaking, and visually stunning movie. But it is. Instead I'd say u really should watch it because it matters. once in a lifetime experience packed in a romantic and ardent musical drama.
- The movie dances between classical 'The Sound of Music' and 70's 'Saturday Night Fever' n daringly positions itself in a broader, gallant, and modern style. Thanks to Prius, iPhone and YouTube the movie keeps us on the present day!!!! it is wonderfully directed and cheerfully executed by the actors. I should admit i was hypnotized even since the opening sequence.
- The music, the dances, the objects, and the intense romantic acts thematically flow and were brought in very aesthetically pleasing visuals. The magical sequence is very charming and the alternate reality is definitely heart-stirring and overwhelming.
- The movie narrates a premise of 2 ordinary people who are trapped in a City of Stars that is Hollywood n tackles various genre of symbolism with thoughtful scripts that recite a familiar tune of most Hollywood dramas without resorting to any of sentimentality.
- It explores the what if and conformity theme which surround the City of Stars itself. The impressive thing about this plot is that the movie also illustrates what earnings could stand in between the constant struggle of City of Stars. It is down to earth yet it literally flies you beyond the reasoning.
- Should we start talking about how gorgeously and insanely thrilling chemistry Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling have? its just wild!! .
- The ending makes everything more incredible. It provokes the audience into a wilder imagination that takes away one, a predictable ending, and two, a tragedy. All wrapped in a set of elegant acting and storytelling.
Definitely recommended!!
