_Jisung breathed out a sigh of relief, leaning back against the wall. The exhaustion of the fight was beginning to catch up to him, along with the pain. He glanced at Minho. “I had it covered,” he said casually, looking away when Minho fixed him with a criticizing look.
“Is that why you’re bleeding?”
When Lee Minho saves Jisung from an unfortunate encounter with a rival gang, the two become hopelessly entangled as tensions between the two gangs rise._
_Minho's parents thought a change of scenery would be good for him, though he's not too sure. Minho expects to be counting down the days until summer ends and he can go back to a life where nothing happens, and he can fade into the background once more.
Little does he know that the island is full of secrets, potential new friends, an (admittedly talented) garage band, and a pretty surfer that Minho just can't seem to shake off, no matter how hard he tries._
Jisung meets Minho on a hot summer morning, the July sun unforgiving outside.
Walking into the diner makes Jisung feel like he is being sent back in time — to a time when he wasn’t born at all, but also to all those days in his childhood when he would come here with his parents. The checkered floors remain the same, the pink leather booths as shiny as he remembers them being; nostalgia stirs in his chest as the waiters skate past him, effortlessly balancing trays full of food on skilled hands.
Mel’s Diner is as pink and cozy as he remembers it being.
“Hi, welcome to Mel’s Diner!” the waiter in their signature pink uniform and white skates greets cheerfully. “What can I help you with today?”
When their eyes meet and Jisung is faced with the most beautiful man he has ever seen, he doesn't expect his life to change the way it does.
(A story about Minho and Jisung, about growing pains, and on how to fall in love over the years.)
When his relationship falls apart and his publishers rush him into thinking about his next book, Jisung decides to take up his aunt’s invitation and travel to her villa in a picturesque coastal town in Italy. He hopes to find peace and quiet, but love finds him first.
